AN ACT relating to the voluntary termination of pregnancy.
Amend KRS 311.720 to include more legislative findings pertaining to the health and rights of women; amend KRS 311.720 to include definitions for "individual private setting," and "pregnancy help center"; amend KRS 311.725 to increase the physician disclosure requirements made to a woman contemplating an abortion, require facilities who counsel women about abortions to make certain disclosures, require the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to include the disclosure requirements in their informational material and to publish all their material in English and Spanish; create a new section of KRS 311.710 to 311.820 to require that KRS 311.725, as it was in effect on the effective date of this Act, may resume if the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Kentucky, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, or the Supreme Court of the United States enjoins, suspends, delays, or invalidates the amendments to KRS 311.725; create a new section of KRS 311.710 to 311.820 to allow the State Board of Medical Licensure to secure private counsel should the constitutionality be challenged; shall be known as the "Woman's Right to Know Act."
