HB 551 (BR 1626) - A. Wuchner

     AN ACT relating to postsecondary education.
     Amend KRS 164.7874 to change the definition of "KEES curriculum" from "five courses of study" to "five credits"; amend KRS 164.7879 to identify the KEES award amounts for students who graduated high school prior to June 30, 2009 and for students who will graduate high school after June 30, 2009; require that students graduating high school after June 30, 2009 receive an ACT score of 18 or above to be eligible for a KEES award; and clarify that KEES award eligibility terminates upon the expiration of five years following a student obtaining a GED; amend KRS 164.7881 and 164.7885 to conform.
