HB 561 (BR 1826) - J. Gooch Jr, J. Richards
AN ACT relating to insurance producers.
Amend KRS 304.9-040 to change "individual" to "person" in the definition of insurance consultant; amend KRS 304.9-080 to provide that no business entity shall act as a consultant unless licensed as a consultant; delete subsections (3) and (4); amend KRS 304.9-230 to establish requirements for license as a consultant for an applicant who is an individual and for an applicant who is a business entity.
HB 561 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original provisions; make technical changes to Section 2; delete reference to a business entity in Section 3(1)(a); amend KRS 304.9-107 to clarify the requirements persons holding certain degrees or designations are exempt from having to meet.
HFA (1/Title, J. Gooch Jr) - Make title amendment.
SCS - Delete original provisions; amend KRS 156.070 to require that any student who turns nineteen (19) years of age prior to July 1, rather than August 1, shall not be eligible for high school athletics in Kentucky and shall remain eligible for that school year only.
SCA (1/Title, T. Buford) - Make title amendment.
