HB 598 (BR 2255) - J. Hoover

     AN ACT relating to riding in trucks.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189 to define "truck" and prohibit a person under age 16 from riding in an open cargo area on a highway; exempt trucks in a parade or trucks with camper tops or other enclosures and trucks registered under KRS 186.050(4) on private property; require that the operator of the truck be cited; amend KRS 189.990 to add penalty.
