     AN ACT relating to alcohol and drug counselors.
     Amend KRS 309.080 and 309.0805 to change definitions and language to establish licensure requirements in lieu of certification; amend KRS 309.081 to rename the board and add meeting and quorum requirements; allow for removal of board members by the Governor; amend KRS 309.0813 and 319.083 to change references to certification to licensure; allow the board to enter into reciprocal agreements with similar boards in other states; create a new section of KRS 309.080 to 309.089 to set up a revolving fund for the use of the board; amend KRS 309.084 to allow the individuals currently certified as drug and alcohol counselors to become automatically licensed upon the effective date of the act; amend KRS 309.086, 309.087, and 309.089 to change terminology; require continuing education for renewal.
