     AN ACT relating to local government.
     Amend KRS 65.2005, relating to defense of employee by local government, to establish that a local government is not required to defend an employee when the employee has been charged with or convicted of a crime committed during the performance of his or her duties, been involuntarily terminated, or been suspended for conduct that led to the tort action, or when a local government determines that the employee acted or failed to act because of fraud, malice, or corruption, or that the employee acted outside the scope of employment.
