AN ACT relating to low-income housing.
Amend KRS 227A.030, relating to electricians and electrical contractors, and KRS 318.020, relating to plumbers, to allow the Office of Housing, Buildings and Construction to waive provisions of either chapter for qualifying nonprofit organizations, for the purpose of constructing single-family dwellings that will be given or sold below the appraised value to low-income persons; require the office to promulgate administrative regulations to describe the requirements, types, and process for any waiver the office chooses to allow.
