     AN ACT relating to elections.
     Amend KRS 118.025 to remove time frame of a runoff primary; amend KRS 118.035 to conform; amend KRS 118.105 to require the nomination of a political party's candidate for Lieutenant Governor to be made by the party's candidate for Governor after the primary; amend KRS 118.125 to remove language requiring notification and declaration for a slate of candidates for the primary; amend KRS 118.127 to prescribe the procedure necessary for a gubernatorial candidate to nominate and select a running mate for the office of Lieutenant Governor; amend KRS 118.215, 118.225, 118.227, and 118.245 to conform; amend KRS 118.305 to require county clerks to put on the ballot the name of candidates of a political party who have received certificates of nomination that have been filed with the Secretary of State or county clerk; amend KRS 118.315 to conform; amend KRS 118.367 to require a candidate for Lieutenant Governor to file a statement-of-candidacy form; amend KRS 121.015 to conform; amend KRS 121.056 to prohibit a person who contributes more than the maximum legal contribution to a candidate for Governor from holding certain appointive state offices during a certain specified time; amend KRS 121.180 to permit unexpended funds of a candidate for Governor during the primary to be transferred to a slate of candidates if the candidate is a member of the slate during a regular election.
