SB 132 (BR 1674) - R. Stivers II, R. Palmer II
AN ACT relating to fish and wildlife license violations.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 150 to authorize the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to enter reciprocal agreements with other states relating to violations of hunting and fishing laws and require administrative regulations to be promulgated; amend KRS 150.990 to require that an individual who fails to appear pursuant to a citation or summons for violation of KRS Chapter 150 or administrative regulation promulgated thereunder forfeit his or her hunting and fishing license; require courts to notify department when an individual fails to appear pursuant to a citation or summons for violation of KRS Chapter 150 or administrative regulation promulgated thereunder; increase minimum and maximum penalties for violation of several sections of KRS Chapter 150; amend KRS 150.280 to conform.

SFA (1, J. Pendleton) - Delete Section 2 of the bill.
SFA (2, J. Pendleton) - Revise Section 2 to apply to Kentucky and Federal fish, game, and wildlife laws.
SFA (3, R. Stivers II) - Delete reference to KRS 150.720 as a section subject to violation; delete six-month imprisonment as a punishment for violating various sections of KRS Chapter 150.
