AN ACT relating to military affairs.
Amend KRS 36.040 to authorize the adjutant general to enter into federal agreements to carry out needs of the Department of Military Affairs; amend KRS 61.394 to increase the number of days of annual military leave from 15 days to 21 days for the National Guard and Reserve; amend KRS 38.250 to conform; amend KRS 171.782 to permit the Kentucky Military Heritage Commission to have designees take the place of the named members; amend KRS 304.13-063 to include an insurance reduction for military members who take a defensive driving class from the United States Armed Forces.
SB 133 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, C. Siler) - Clarify that insurance reduction for military members shall be actuarially sound; make Section 5 effective January 1, 2007.
