AN ACT relating to penalties.
Amend KRS 351.990 to increase the fines for violating KRS 351.315 to 351.375; provide a civil fine for a blasting operation that results in the death or serious injury of a person.

SCA (1, T. Jensen) - Define "serious physical injury" as an injury which has the reasonable potential to cause death and provide that the penalty be assessed in the event of a serious physical injury.
