AN ACT relating to genetic and metabolic disorders.
Amend KRS 205.560 to require Medicaid coverage for prescribed food products for genetic and metabolic diseases for which the cabinet conducts newborn screening tests; amend KRS 213.141 to specify that $1 of the birth certificate fee shall pay for food products for conditions listed in KRS 214.155(2); amend KRS 304-17A-139 to require a health benefit plan that provides prescription drug coverage to cover prescribed food products for conditions listed in KRS 214.155(2).
