SB 30 (BR 387) - E. Tori, W. Blevins Jr, C. Borders, T. Buford, E. Harris, A. Kerr, R. Roeding

     AN ACT relating to the public employee health insurance program.
     Create a new section of KRS chapter 18A to require the Personnel Cabinet, Department for Employee Insurance, to offer TRICARE supplement insurance to eligible TRICARE insurance beneficiaries; require the state to pay for individual TRICARE supplement insurance; prohibit employees covered under TRICARE supplement insurance from obtaining other coverage offered through the public employee health insurance program.

SB 30 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS - Make technical correction.

     HFA (1, B. Yonts) - Retain original provisions; require any elected official who retires and then takes an elected office participating in the same retirement system to be paid a salary in an amount whereby his or her total salary and retirement benefits shall not exceed the salary fixed for the elected office held.

     HFA (2/Title, B. Yonts) - Make title amendment.
