     AN ACT relating to honoring military service through education benefits.
     Amend KRS 164.507 to waive public higher education or vocational tuition of a person who is the child of a deceased veteran and who is under the age of 26, rather than who is under the age of 23, for a period not in excess of 45 months, rather than for a period not in excess of 36 months; amend KRS 164.515 to waive public higher education or vocational tuition of a person who is the child of a deceased veteran and who is under the age of 26, rather than who is under the age of 23, for a period not in excess of 45 months, rather than for a period not in excess of 36 months.

     HFA (1, J. Comer Jr) - Permit a child or dependent of a deceased or permanently disabled veteran to be eligible for the tuition waiver at a state-supported university, junior college, or vocational training institute, regardless of the deceased or permanently disabled veteran's home of record, if the child or dependent of the deceased or permanently disabled veteran graduated from a Kentucky high school.
