AN ACT relating to incompatible offices.
Amend KRS 61.080 to allow civil officers of cities, counties, and districts to serve as volunteer firefighters; forbid civil officers from serving on governing bodies of volunteer fire departments or as chief of a volunteer fire department.

HCS - Amend KRS 61.080 to allow state, county, district, or city officers to serve as volunteer firefighters.
HFA (1, T. Pullin) - Amend House Bill 107 to include volunteer fire departments formed under KRS Chapter 95 and to allow elected officials to serve on the governing bodies of volunteer fire departments and to serve as chief of departments.
