AN ACT relating to show cattle, and making an appropriation therefor.
Amend KRS 246.250 to define "registered cattle," "pen sale cattle," "market animals," and "AOB"; appropriate at least $8,500 each for premiums and advertising expenditures for 21 registered cattle breeds and other categories; describe how AOBs are to be funded; appropriate at least $5,000 each to the Kentucky Dairy Nationals Board and to the Kentucky Beef Expo Board; describe the requirements for funding; require the department to promulgate administrative regulations to carry out the provisions of the bill; APPROPRIATION.

HCS - Amend KRS 246.250 to define "registered cattle," "Pen sale cattle," "market animals," and "AOB"; establish premium and advertising levels, if funds are available, for registered show cattle breeds and other categories; establish funding levels, if funds are available, for the Kentucky Dairy Nationals Board and the Kentucky Beef Expo Board; establish eligibility requirements to receive premiums and advertising funding; require the department to promulgate administrative regulations to administer the show cattle program.
