AN ACT relating to the streamlined sales and use tax agreement.
Amend 139.050 to include in the definition of "gross receipts" and "sales price" consideration received from a third party; amend KRS 139.105 to provide sourcing rules for prepaid wireless calling service and ancillary service; amend KRS 139.195 to define "ancillary services", "conference bridging services", "detailed telecommunications billing service", "directory assistance", "fixed wireless services", "international", "interstate", "intrastate", "mobile wireless service", "'paging service", "pay telephone service", prepaid wireless calling service", "ring tones", "telecommunications service", "value-added non-voice data service", "vertical service", "voice mail service", "800 service", and "900 service"; create a new section of KRS Chapter 139 to define "bundled transaction" and provide rules; amend KRS 139.270 to define "entity-based exemption" and "good faith"; amend KRS 139.470 to define "residential telecommunications service"; amend KRS 139.781 to define "governing board", "member state", "model 1 seller", "model 2 seller", "model 3 seller", "product-based exemption", and "use-based exemption"; amend KRS 139.795 to provide a certified service provider a model 2 seller relief from liability if they have relied on software certified by the state; create a new section of KRS 136.600 to 136.990 to provide sourcing rules for communications services; amend KRS 139.200, 139.139.210, 139.471, 472, 139.485, 139.783, 139.785, 139.787, 139.784, 139.791, 139.793, 139.794, 139.990136.602,136.616, 136.620, 160.6131, and 160.6151 to conform; repeal KRS 139.320 and 139.776; Effective July 1, 2007.
