     AN ACT relating to building permits.
     Amend KRS 67.410 to require uniform state building permits to be obtained before construction; amend KRS 100.267 to provide for a restraining order in the event a builder begins construction without a uniform state building permit; amend KRS 100.271 to permit a designated county official to issue uniform state building permits; amend KRS 100.303 to require a uniform state building permit; amend KRS 198B.040 to require the Kentucky Board of Housing, Building and Construction to adopt and promulgate a mandatory uniform state building permit; amend KRS 198B.060 to exempt single-family residences where a local government has not passed an ordinance requiring inspection of single-family residences and responsibility of local governments in issuing uniform state building permits; amend KRS 198B.260 to require all building permits to comply with Kentucky Building Code; amend KRS 219.360 to require that uniform state building permits comply with local zoning or other requirements; amend various KRS sections to conform.
