     AN ACT relating to diabetes.
     State findings and declarations regarding the incidence, prevention, screening, and treatment of diabetes; create a new section of KRS 205.510 to 205.630 to require the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to require Medicaid providers to obtain and record the body mass index of recipients and to use the index and the American Diabetes Association guidelines as a strategy to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes, control diabetes, and prevent the associated long-term complications.
