AN ACT relating to property valuation administrators' offices and making an appropriation therefor.
Amend KRS 132.590 to establish the PVA compensation fund as a separate fund in the State Treasury; provide that an amount equal to 2.11 cents of the state real property tax rate as applied against the most recent certified state real property tax roll be deposited in the fund each year to compensate the PVA and all approved deputies and assistants; provide that any projected shortfall in the fund shall be made up; delete provisions that require PVAs to contribute funds derived locally for personnel costs; establish the PVA advisory committee to monitor allocations and distributions from the PVA compensation fund.
