     AN ACT relating to military family assistance.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 141 to establish an income tax checkoff for military family assistance; permit any taxpayer required to file a return under KRS 141.180 who is entitled to an income tax refund to contribute to the military family assistance trust fund; require the tax refund designation to be printed on the face of the Kentucky individual income tax form; require the instructions of the individual income tax return to include a description of the military family assistance trust fund and the purposes for which the funds from the checkoff may be used; require the commissioner of the Department of Revenue, by July 1 of each year, to transfer the funds designated by taxpayers to the military assistance trust fund.
