     AN ACT relating to military death benefits.
     Amend KRS 61.315 to require that the State Treasurer pay a death benefit in the amount of $80,000 when a member of the United States Armed Forces who names Kentucky as home of record dies on federal active duty as a direct result of an act in the line of duty; make the amendment to KRS 61.315 retroactive to July 1, 2002.
