     AN ACT relating to sales tax holidays and declaring an emergency.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 139 to exempt the sale or purchase of clothing with a sales price of less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per item, school supplies, and computers and computer supplies with a sales price of less than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) per item; define terms; outline procedures; amend KRS 139.210, 139.220 and l39.340 to allow retailers to absorb the tax on other times sold during the sales tax holiday and advertise accordingly; EMERGENCY; EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2007.
