HB 99 (BR 428) - T. Pullin, D. Graham

     AN ACT relating to promotional increments for career employees.
     Amend KRS 18A.110 to allow the secretary of the Personnel Cabinet to approve the promotional salary of career employees promoted to a higher pay grade; allow promoted career employee to receive the same salary level of any new appointee to that same pay grade in that classification in the same county with similar qualifications.

     HCS - Amend the bill to allow the secretary of the Personnel Cabinet to approve the salary of a full-time state employee with status who is promoted or reclassified to a higher pay grade to the same salary level that would be available to new appointments in that grade.
