     Urge the United States Congress to pass, and the President of the United States to sign, legislation to improve the Medicare prescription drug benefit program by administering the program directly through Medicare, closing the gap in coverage, repealing the ban on Medicare negotiating lower drug prices, making the program easier to understand, and improving the low-income subsidy; direct that a copy of this Resolution be submitted to the President and to the Kentucky Congressional Delegation.
