AN ACT relating to waste tires.
Amend KRS 224.01-010 to exclude tire-derived fuel from the definitions of solid waste, household waste, commercial waste, and industrial waste; add a definition for "tire-derived fuel."
SB 125 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, T. Jensen) - Add tire derived fuel to the definition of "recovered material"; clarify a separate definition of "tire derived fuel" as particles not greater than 2 inches by 2 inches and exclude from being considered a refuse derived fuel; amend KRS 224.50-856 to provide permitting and restricting use of local determination requirements for use of tire derived fuel; require the Division of Air Quality to give public notice and comment on application to use tire derived fuel.
