     AN ACT relating to the transportation of persons by limousine.
     Create a new section of KRS 281 to require the issuance of a certificate of public convenience for the transportation of persons by limousine, if the applicant is found to be fit, willing, and able to provide the service; establish that the certificate specify the territory to be served and number of limousines to be operated; establish procedures for sale or transfer of the certificate; amend KRS 281.625 to require the department to set a hearing time and date upon filing of an application for a limousine certificate; allow the department to grant the certificate without holding a hearing; amend KRS 281.632 to permit the department to grant temporary authority for the limousine service; limit the temporary authority to be extended for one additional 180 day period; amend KRS 281.630 to conform.
