     AN ACT relating to ginseng.
     Create new sections of KRS 246.650 to 246.660 to allow any conservation officer or peace officer to assist the department in enforcing the ginseng program, to create the Kentucky ginseng fund, and to establish the procedures in declaring seized items as contraband; amend KRS 246.650 to define the different species of ginseng; amend KRS 246.660 to require the department to administer a program for the different species of ginseng; amend KRS 246.990 to establish penalties for violating administrative regulations relating to ginseng and for purchasing ginseng out of season.
