SB 198 (BR 1995) - C. Gibson, J. Rhoads

     AN ACT relating to vital statistics.
     Amend KRS Chapter 213.041 to allow certificates required in KRS Chapter 213 to be signed in black or blue ink; amend KRS 213.076 to permit registered nurses and physician assistants to sign and amend certificates of death.

     SCS - Amend to remove provisions relating to registered nurses and physician assistants and to include provisions relating to the correction of incomplete or unsatisfactory certificates.

     SFA (1, C. Gibson) - Make a technical correction.

     SFA (2, R. Palmer II) - Insert provision to amend KRS 213.116, relating to the collecting of data, to require the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to provide a means by which information pertaining to divorces can be electronically filed.

     SFA (3, R. Palmer II) - Amend same provisions as SFA #2 except change date for compliance to July 1, 2008.
