SB 29/LM (BR 398) - D. Roeding
AN ACT relating to alcoholic beverages.
Amend KRS 244.130 to exempt promotional advertising mailed or delivered to a customer's residence from the prohibition against advertising alcoholic beverages.
SB 29 - AMENDMENTS
SCS/LM - Retain original provisions; add provision to allow a racetrack license under KRS Chapter 230 that is located in a city where prohibition is not in effect in whole or part to obtain a horse racetrack license; require that the license apply only to racetrack premises where live racing meets were held in 2006; clarify that this section shall apply only to the track's premises that are located within the city's limits.
HFA (1, R. Damron) - Permit a restaurant that holds a restaurant wine, a restaurant drink, and a retail package license to permit its customers to bring an unopened container of wine on the restaurant premises for consumption on the premises in conjunction with the eating of a meal purchased from the restaurant; require that the open container not be removed from the restaurant unless sealed in accordance with KRS 243.115; permit the restaurant to charge the customer a charge for uncorking, serving, and resealing the wine.
HFA (2, R. Damron) - Retain original provisions; create new sections to eliminate requirement that orders to purchase wine from small farm wineries be made in person.
HFA (3, R. Damron) - Retain original provisions; create new section to amend the definition of "small farm winery" to a winery producing an amount not to exceed 100,000 gallons in a calendar year.
