     AN ACT relating to the required reporting of wounds.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 216 to require physicians in hospitals and other health care facilities or clinics to report any case involving a bullet wound, powder burn, or other injury resulting from the discharge of a firearm, or wound that is likely to or may result in death and is inflicted by a knife, ice pick, or other sharp or pointed instrument to law enforcement; and provide for immunity from civil or criminal liability for good faith reporting.
