AN ACT relating to motor vehicles.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189 to define "hybrid vehicle"; require Transportation Cabinet to promulgate administrative regulations establishing minimum sound standards for hybrid vehicles within one year of effective date of the Act; require research and consultation prior to establishing minimum sound level standards; require all new hybrid vehicles sold in Kentucky to comply with the standards set in this act beginning August 1, 2010.
