     AN ACT relating to municipal fire protection districts.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 75 to allow two or more cities in a county with a population of at least 100,000 to form municipal fire protection districts with optional ambulance service; require cities to memorialize certain requirements by interlocal agreement including initial operations funding; allow ad valorem tax levy for continued operation of district; identify powers and duties for district board of trustees, including budget approval, submission, financial reporting and auditing of funds; provide for district firefighter participation in professional firefighter foundation program fund.
