     AN ACT relating to human rights.
     Amend KRS 344.190 to include provisions allowing for mediation; amend KRS 344.200 to revise the timeline for the Human Rights Commission's processing of discrimination complaints, to allow for mediation of complaints, and to allow for the commission to recover fees expended in enforcing a conciliation agreement; amend KRS 344.210 to specify the role and availability of private counsel in commission related matters; amend KRS 344.230 to allow commission staff to conduct discrimination training; amend KRS 344.240 to allow the commission to recover fees expended in certain actions and to specify the procedure for appellate review of commission actions; amend KRS 344.250 to allow the commission to recover fees expended in instances of non-compliance in discovery or in appearing before the commission; create a new section of KRS Chapter 344 to create, in fair housing situations, a procedure for self-testing of compliance with those laws with the results having an evidentiary privilege; amend KRS 344.605 to allow for mediation and training in fair housing complaint cases; amend KRS 344.615, 344.625, and 344.650 to conform.
