HB 489 (BR 1252) - T. Burch
AN ACT relating to child medical support.
Amend KRS 403.211 to define "appropriate health care insurance coverage" as "accessible", "comprehensive", and "reasonable in cost; define "cash medical support"; require the court to determine if medical support for the child is available; require the court to order the parent to obtain or maintain coverage; change the term noncustodial parent to obligated parent.
HB 489 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain provisions of the bill except to add that health insurance coverage from a public entity includes the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance and the Kentucky Medicaid programs.
SCS - Make technical correction.
