AN ACT relating to interscholastic athletics.
Create a new section of KRS 160 to require local school boards to make automatic external defibrillators available in all public schools; require local districts to collaborate with local and state organizations to coordinate training for employees on the use of automatic external defibrillators; clarify immunity for injury during use of automatic external defibrillators; and require the Department of Education to disseminate information on funding sources and to coordinate recognition of funding sources.
