     AN ACT relating to the practice of diabetes education and making an appropriation therefor.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 309 to define "diabetes education" and "licensed diabetes educator"; exempt specified health care professionals from licensing restrictions; create the Kentucky Board of Licensed Diabetes Educators and enumerate the powers and duties of the board; establish a revolving fund for fees and other moneys; establish requirements for licensure and set fees; require continuing education for license renewal; establish provisions for penalties and license denial, suspension, or revocation; require administrative hearings conducted under KRS Chapter 13B.
