AN ACT relating to implementing Do Not Resuscitate orders in a hospital setting.
Create new section of KRS Chapter 311 to define "Do Not Resuscitate" or "DNR" order; require the signature of a patient or a family member of the patient before implementing a do not resuscitate order written by a health care provider in a hospital setting; permit a hospital to request that a patient complete a (MOST) Medical Order for Scope of Treatment form in accordance with KRS 311.621 to KRS 311.643.
