     Amend KRS 202A.011 to include physician assistants in the definition of "qualified mental health professional."


AMENDMENTS

     HCS1 - Delete original provisions; amend KRS 202A.011 to include physician assistants in the definition of "qualified mental health professional" and to establish the educational and experience requirements for a physician assistant to become a qualified mental health professional; amend KRS 600.020 to include physician assistants in the definition of "qualified mental health professional" and to establish the educational and experience requirements for a physician assistant to become a qualified mental health professional.
     SCS1 - Retain original provisions and clarify that a physician assistant is only required to meet one of the four requirements to be qualified to become a qualified mental health professional.
