     AN ACT relating to harassment.
     Create a new section of KRS 6.601 to 6.849 to provide a process for staff of the Legislative Research Commission to file a complaint for sexual harassment with the Legislative Ethics Commission; create a new section of KRS 6.601 to 6.849 to prohibit a legislator, employee of the legislative branch of state government, legislative agent, or any other person who interacts with legislators and employees of the legislative branch from intentionally engaging in sexual harassment or entering into any agreement except under the provisions of KRS 6.601 to 6.849; create a new section of KRS Chapter 7 to create a task force on sexual harassment; provide for membership and co-chairs; require the task force to meet by September 1, 2018, develop a climate survey for partisan and nonpartisan employees and contractors of the Legislative Research Commission, analyze the data from the survey, and determine future steps; create a new section of KRS Chapter 7 to provide for a process to receive complaints from legislative staff; amend KRS 6.611 to define "official misconduct" and "sexual harassment."
