AN ACT relating to the inclusion of a district board of education in a property assessment or reassessment moratorium.
Amend KRS 99.600 to authorize a consolidated local government to allow a district board of education to be included in its assessment or reassessment moratorium program; require the consolidated local government to notify the administrating agency, if the district board of education is accepted; amend 160.460 to require an administrating agency to ensure that the proper school district is provided the assessed valuation of property when that property is participating in an assessment or reassessment moratorium; provide an exception to the 100 percent fair cash value requirement for assessing real property for property participating in an assessment or reassessment moratorium.
