AN ACT relating to the maintenance of teacher certification.
Amend KRS 161.095 to prohibit the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) from imposing conditions for a teacher to maintain his or her certification; amend KRS 161.1211 to prohibit the EPSB from requiring a Rank III teacher to obtain a Rank II or Rank I to maintain his or her certificate; amend KRS 161.020 and 156.553 to conform.
