AN ACT making an appropriation to the Legislative Research Commission for expense incurred in connection with the Second Extraordinary Session of 1997 of the General Assembly, and declaring an emergency.
     Appropriate from the General fund $30,800 per calendar day for payment of salaries and expenses; appropriate $3,000 per calendar day to the Legislative Research Commission for payment of expenses; transfer $4,500 per calendar day from the monthly expenses of legislators' account to the legislative session fund; appropriate $15,000 for the costs of printing and binding the Acts,; appropriate $44,000 to pay for expert testimony, legislative travel, and stationary allowance; provide that pages shall receive a per diem of $25 each; EMERGENCY; Retroactive to September 30, 1997.
