AN ACT relating to Medicaid coverage for autism and pervasive developmental disorder.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 205 to define "autism," "eligible child," and "pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified"; provide that, within 90 days of the effective date of the Act, the Cabinet for Human Resources shall request a federal waiver to provide Medicaid coverage for eligible children with autism, and pervasive developmental disorder, regardless of income or assets of the family, in accordance with 42 U.S.C. section 1396a(e)(3).
