AN ACT relating to marriage.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 402 to render a same sex marriage, which occurs in a foreign jurisdiction, void and unenforceable in Kentucky; amend KRS 402.020 to prohibit same sex marriage in Kentucky; amend KRS 402.040 to make invalid a same sex marriage involving a resident of Kentucky who marries in another state; amend KRS 402.030, 402.210, and 402.260 to conform.
HB 13 - AMENDMENTS
HCA (1, J. Vincent) - Amend KRS 402.020 relating to prohibited marriages to add marriages involving more than two persons as a prohibited marriage; create a new section of KRS Chapter 402 to define marriage.
HFA (1, K. Stein) - Amend various provisions of KRS Chapter 344 to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment, housing, and other areas.
HFA (2, K. Stein) - Make title amendment.
HFA (3, M. Marzian) - Create a new section of KRS Chapter 403 to require divorced persons who change residence to notify new neighbors of the fact of their divorce.
HFA (4, M. Marzian) - Amend KRS 402.020 to prohibit a person guilty of an offense against a child from marrying.
HFA (5, M. Marzian) - Amend KRS 402.020 to prohibit a person guilty of an offense against a child from marrying.
HFA (6, M. Marzian) - Prohibit issuance of a marriage license after a person has been married three times.
HFA (7, M. Marzian) - Amend KRS 402.020 to prohibit a person guilty of domestic violence from marrying.
