AN ACT relating to intangible property tax.
     Amend KRS 132.020 to delete the intangible personal property tax; amend KRS 132.190, 132.200, 134.380, 134.810, and 136.310 to conform; repeal 132.030, 132.040, 132.043, 132.047, 132.050, 132.060, 132.070, 132.080, 132.090, 132.215, 132.216, and 136.030; make effective for tax assessments made on or after January 1, 1999, and only if an amendment to Section 170 of the Kentucky Constitution permitting the General Assembly to exempt all or any portion of the property tax on intangible personal property is adopted by the General Assembly during the 1998 Regular Session and ratified by the people of the Commonwealth.
