HB 275 (BR 1150) - J. Wayne

     AN ACT relating to executive branch ethics.
     Amend KRS 11A.045 to prohibit a public servant, his spouse, or dependent child from accepting certain gifts and gratuities; establish items that are exempt.

HB 275 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Retain original provisions of the bill except amend KRS 11A.010 to change the definition of an officer by limiting it to the specified positions and deleting the provision that refers to "any other management personnel with procurement authority".
     HFA (1, J. Wayne) - Require "that" acceptance of gifts must be done knowingly to be in violation of the statute prohibiting acceptance of gifts.
