AN ACT relating to renal dialysis facilities.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 216B to require that all renal dialysis facilities and health care facilities licensed under KRS Chapter 216B install, maintain and conduct periodic tests of backup generators to provide a continuous source for energy for the provision of renal dialysis services, and allow facilities seeking license renewal to the year 2000 to come into compliance while requiring any new licensee to comply by July 1, 1998.
