AN ACT relating to jail standards.
     Amend KRS 441.055 relating to jail standards to require the Department of Corrections to adopt the standards of the Jail Standards Commission and promulgate administrative regulations for those jails that elect not to hold state prisoners and limit such standards to health and life safety conditions; and amend KRS 441.064 to require the Department of Corrections to inspect all jails at least biannually.
