AN ACT relating to budget statements.
Amend KRS 424.220 and KRS 160.463 by permitting a school district to publish a statement of revenue and expenditure from a certified audit in lieu of a full financial statement providing audit is advertised as available and to require the district to mail a copy of the full audit to anyone requesting it in writing; amend KRS 424.250 to mail a copy of the budget, at the districts expense to anyone requesting it in writing.
HB 378 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Clarify that the school district rather than the superintendent shall decide whether to publish a summary statement rather than a complete audit.
